Peaking Lights: "Tiger Eyes"

We’ve been thoroughly enjoying the laid-back dub sounds of 936, the new LP from “tranced post-reggae hyno-pop” duo Peaking Lights. Here’s the dark and faded “Tiger Eyes,” a jam that’s markedly sexier and more melancholy than the relatively immediate and upbeat “All The Sun That Shines.” Not Not Fun is calling this thing a “groove-wave classic”; can’t confirm it’s that yet, but it’s definitely one of the coolest records we’ve heard this year.
