Eloisa De La Rosa might be the raddest 15 year-old music blogger in the game. Her site, the excellent verb/re/verb, has only been live since June, but already her ear for super dope jams-- not to mention her relatable perspective on music consumption and creation by the emerging 'neo-gen'-- has made her blog a recurring destination of ours. Yesterday, she dropped YOUTH, a mix of artists-- all under 18 years old-- covering the music of their childhood. We especially love how San Diego's KYNAN tears into "Purple Rain," shredding like a teenage Prince alone in his bedroom studio.
