Box Set of Werner Herzog Soundtracks by Popol Vuh

German label SPV will release a limited edition box set this month of soundtracks that Krautrock/Kosmische/electronic pioneers Popol Vuh laid down for director Werner Herzog in the '70s an '80s, mostly composed by founder/keyboardist Florian Fricke. The Werner Herzog Soundtracks includes music from Aguirre (1972), Heart of Glass (1976), Nosferatu (1979), Fitzcarraldo (1982), and Cobra Verde (1987), and comes with a 98-page book full of photos and liner notes.
