With its arpeggiated vocal line and delirious, synthetic swells, Laurel Halo's "Metal Confection" was one of our favorite sleeper sing-along anthems of 2010. Hippos In Tanks re-issued her King Felix EP with a new master this past Fall, and these vintage geometric visuals by Brooklyn artist Josef Kraska-- also responsible for a fantastic video for her cover of Sebastien Tellier's "Look"-- bring back the rush of hearing this sprawler for the first time. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
