Sebastian Tellier has always been about tits & ass. His gloriously sensual perversions have been cannon fodder for electro-remixers for a couple years, though Laurel Halo's rendering of Tellier's "Look" bears no resemblance to something that could've been birthed during the great electro wars of 2006-2007. Rather, the alluring Halo slowly rolls "Look" out onto a warm bed of DX-7 synth-phonics, lending a bit of gentility to Tellier's robo-musk magnetism. The result cleans up the sleaze, while amping the track's enchanting sensibilities. Don't believe me? Try not to get turned on while watching this video by Josef Kraska and Heidi Lee; it'd make members of Heaven's Gate rethink that whole mass castration bit. Tellier would be proud.
