Sad City: "Jaya"

Underwater Peoples just hooked us up with the newest jam from Glasgow, Scotland's Gary Caruth, aka Sad City. If the name sounds slightly familiar, it's probably because a few years back we got our first peak at Sad City on UPR's Summertime Showcase, the debut mix that cemented Underwater Peoples as a great label. "Jaya" builds on a slow, tribal beat that's layered with torrential kicks and snares while smooth clarinet lines pull you forward. --Jheri Evans, Get Off The Coast
