You've probaby heard about Laurel Halo's upcoming Hippos In Tanks 12" called Hour Logic, but you mght not've known about her more imminent release with NNA Tapes dubbed Antenna. Due in just a couple of weeks, the cassette will feature seven tracks, two of which will appear on Hour Logic. Focusing on the ambient side of Halo's work, which you can hear peripherally on last year's King Felix EP, this cassette "is the back-end to Hour Logic's front-end, in the programming vs. design sense," says Halo. Needless to say, the texturally rich "Zoo Hypothesis" definitely whets our appetite for what's to come. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
