Wesley Eisold of Cold Cave says:
This is just a group of songs I end up listening to in my apartment a lot, either separately or as part of a record. There are two Floating di Morel songs because I often let the A-side of the More Memory Than Now LP play over and over and these two songs are back-to-back. I have a few copies of this record in case it gets worn out one day. I don't know that I could say what it is exactly that I connected with in this record but I think more people should know of them. I go through times of listening to a lot of Ramleh's Grudge For Life record because to me it is kind of a violent psychedelic record, and this appeals to me. I always loved the album cover too. When I found a copy about 5 years ago, there was a dead spider in the plastic sleeve which had been there for a while. I just left it alone. There are a few songs by German bands on here. I like the way they feel and I like Germany. The opening line in This Heat's "Health and Efficiency" always makes me feel better. I don't know, there is more emotion in this live version than in the 12" version, and I'm at a point in my life where I'm no longer ashamed of my emotions.
